Kimura Tokubei Shoten is opened in Kabutocho, Nihonbashi, Tokyo.
1950
Kimura Tokubei Shoten is established as stock company in Otaki-cho, Yokosuka, Kanagawa. Head office (main store) is subsequently relocated to Chuo-ku, Tokyo.
1951
Company is authorized as wholesale rice merchant and launches rice sales.
1964
Company name is changed to Kitoku Co., Ltd.
1969
Large-scale rice milling factory is built in Kamome-cho, Naka-ku, Yokohama.
1991
Angimex Kitoku Joint Venture Co. (now Angimex Kitoku Limited Company) is formed and launches business in Vietnam.
1994
Large-scale rice milling factory is built in Okegawa, Saitama.
1995
Rice importing business is launched under SBS (simultaneous-buy-sell contract) system.
1996
Kitoku America Inc. is established and launches operations in U.S.
1998
Kitoku begins importation of government-controlled rice in accordance with Minimum Access (MA) provisions.
2000
Kitoku merges with Shinryo Bussan Co. to form Kitoku Shinryo Co., Ltd.
2001
Shares are listed on JASDAQ (now JASDAQ Securities Exchange).
2002
Kitoku Shinryo acquires stake in Bizen Shokuryo Co. of Setouchi, Okayama, and begins operations in Chugoku region.
2002
Rice flour business is launched. Construction of factory in Sasakami, Niigata, is completed.
2006
Administrative headquarters are relocated to Nishi-Mizue, Edogawa-ku, Tokyo.
2008
Kitoku Thailand is established and launches operations in Thailand. Kitoku Shinryo begins importation of government-controlled (Thai) rice according to Minimum Access (MA) provisions.
2008
Name of Vietnam joint venture company is changed to Angimex Kitoku Limited Company. Rice milling factory is renovated.
2008
Experimental cultivation of Japonica rice is begun in Takeo, Cambodia.
2011
Kitoku(Dalian) Trading Co., Ltd. is established and launches operations in China.
